Hi, I’m the Scooter Cowboy and I use mobility aids and devices every day to keep me going. Mobility is freedom and independence. When I went looking for information on mobility aids and devices from an end user perspective, I couldn’t find it. So that’s why I started this site.
I produce a YouTube channel about mobility devices and using them in real life. Many of the devices I have purchased myself. Manufacturers and retailers have also provided me with devices. I review and compare devices, show them in use, and give an end-user perspective. I share information about how to find the right device for you. And mostly, I use them everyday and in every situation. I get the problems and know the difficulties.
I'm a user, not a dealer. But I do occassionally sell scooters that I have received for review or that I no longer am riding. Obviously when I show a device it helps sell the device. Starting using a cane at 20, that was 46 years ago. I've had many devices in that time, I'm guessing over 35. Some have exceeded my expectations and really helped me out. My devices have changed as my needs have changed. But what really pushed me was wanting to walk my dog every day, rain or shine. Also wanting to travel, to be able to take my device places and use it.
